Some lovely pieces of reggae & rocksteady in with us at the moment


A client contacted wanting to sell their collection, including some lovely soul, reggae and disco..

A nice US copy of Absolutely the Uniques (1974) - a group who over a period spanning less than two years, recorded some of the most popular and enduring music ever to see issue in Jamaica.


Comprising Keith 'Slim' Smith, Lloyd 'Charmers' Tyrell, and Martin 'Jimmy' Riley there source material was deeply rooted in US Soul and artists such as Curtis Mayfield. Beautiful harmomies and soul influenced ballads.
